Throughout ancient times, and still today, it is widely believed that all natural substances contain unique energy fields, each one a specific frequency of the Earth's vibration.
It is this energy that draws us to wear ornaments of metals and gemstones, and even materials like bone, wood, shells, and feathers. METAL is associated with planetary energies. Each type of metal represents a planet, and emanates the unique vibration of that planet. GOLD Represents the Sun (Yang) energy. Used to attract and symbolize wealth, strengthen confidence, and for protection. Aids in the connection between the 7th Chakra (Purple, top of the head) and 8th Chakra (Gold, astral body). SILVER Attuned with the vibration of the Moon (Yin) energy. It increases sensitivity to our intuition and the lunar cycles. Physically, it is believed to help to regulate glandular function and enhance hormone production. COPPER Associated with Venus. It has a soft, warm energy and is a strong electrical conductor. It is a powerful activator in a piece of jewellery, connecting and energizing the other elements around it. STEEL Associated with the planet Mars. It is highly protective and acts as spiritual armor, protecting from energy-draining situations, intense negativity, and psychic attacks.
